about us

Trees for Development is a registered environmental NGO in Ghana promoting agroforestry and sustainable development in the country and accross West Africa. In light of the impact of climate change on world’s populations, Trees for development seeks to train farmers to improve food security by adopting sustainable land use practices through beneficial tree planting. Trees for development also enhances environmental conservation and national resource governance, forest and wildlife protection, biodiversity conservation, as well as livelihood empowerment to ensure a sustainable environment and poverty reduction. Trees for Development is also involved in planting trees in schools and embarking on environmental education as well as promotes school gardening in Ghana and the West African Sub-region Trees request for partners and people accross the world to join it in our fight for sustainable development.
